The Indus river valley is now Pakistan and extends into modern day Indian states of Gujurat, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Punjab.(Time Maps) The Indus river valley is a big flood area. There was a huge flood that killed thousands of people, others were injured and 150,000 evacuated. The river valley had many monsoons nowadays. The river has expanded and gotten larger. Now hinduism, buddhism, and islam are major religions in the Indus Valley.
